We’re Stacey and Richie, a husband-and-wife team from Western Australia, raising two young kids and building a life together that usually involves the beach, the backyard, weekends adventuring, and a fair bit of beautiful chaos in between.

Stacey spent twenty years working as a nurse, caring for people through the hardest moments of their lives, while quietly dreaming of something different. A business of her own. More time with her kids. A life built around the things that actually matter. When she and her partner Richie looked at what the children's furniture market was offering- cheap products that didn't last, couldn't leave the house, and a sea of ugly pretending to be premium, they decided to do something about it.

They designed REEF themselves. A premium kids' lounge chair built for real Australian family life: water-resistant, wipe-clean, genuinely indoor-outdoor, and beautiful enough to belong in a home they were proud of.

Salt & Roo is not a big company. There is no warehouse team or corporate structure behind this brand -just two parents, a product they believe in completely, and a deep respect for the families who trust them with their homes.

We made REEF because we needed it. We think you'll love it just as much as our kids do.
