What is the REEF made of?

The REEF has a supportive, high-density foam core and an OEKO-TEX® certified woven polyester cover with waterproof TPU backing. A durable, water-resistant Oxford polyester base, reinforced seams and handy oversized pockets make it ready for everyday adventures.

Is it safe for my kids?

Made with little loungers in mind, the REEF has soft edges and durable stitching for everyday family life. Supervise young children, and keep from jumping and standing off the chair.

Can I remove the cover?

No, the REEF’s cover is designed to stay on. For everyday spills, simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then leave to air dry. Easy clean-ups, more time for play.

Can it be used indoors and outdoors?

Absolutely. From playroom lounging to backyard adventures and beach days, the REEF is made for both. Bring it indoors after use and store it clean and dry, away from prolonged sun and rain.

How much weight can it hold?

The REEF supports up to 45kg and is designed for children aged 12 months - 10 years. Just right for everyday lounging, reading and story time.

Care & Maintenance

Setup

Carefully open the box and vacuum packaging, keeping scissors away from the fabric. Remove and dispose of all packaging straight away, out of children’s reach.

Leave your REEF in a well-ventilated space for 24–48 hours to fully expand. Light creases are normal after unpacking and will soften naturally with use.

How do I clean it?

For everyday messes, wipe your REEF with a damp cloth and mild soap, then leave to air dry. Avoid bleach, harsh cleaners and abrasive scrubbing to keep the fabric looking its best.

Can I store my REEF chair outdoors?

The REEF loves an outdoor adventure, but belongs indoors when the day is done. Store it in a cool, dry space, and make sure it’s completely dry before putting it away.

Can I forcibly remove any wrinkles?

Light creases from unpacking will soften naturally with use. To help them relax, gently hand steam from a distance, or leave your REEF in a warm, shaded, well-ventilated spot. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat.

Can I hose it off?

Yes, you can hose your REEF off, but never fully submerge it. Leave it to air dry in a warm, shaded, well-ventilated spot, and make sure it’s completely dry before using or storing it.

Shipping, Returns &  Warranty

Do you ship Australia-wide?

$10 tracked shipping Australia-wide. Free shipping when you buy two or more REEF chairs.

What is your return policy?

Changed your mind? Contact us within 14 days of delivery. Your REEF must be unused, unopened and still vacuum-sealed in its original packaging. Once the vacuum seal is opened, change-of-mind returns aren’t available.

Return postage is at your cost, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. Email info@saltandroo.com to arrange a return.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, every REEF comes with a 12-month structural warranty covering manufacturing defects, abnormal foam collapse, stitching or zipper failure, and fabric delamination.

General wear and tear, intentional damage, improper cleaning, cuts, burns and fading from extreme UV exposure aren’t covered. If something isn’t right, email info@saltandroo.com — we’re here to help.

How long will my order take?

We usually dispatch your REEF within 1–3 business days from Perth. Once it’s on its way, we’ll email your tracking details.

Estimated delivery after dispatch:

  • Western Australia: 2–5 business days
  • Interstate metro areas: 4–8 business days
  • Regional and remote areas: 5–12 business days

Allow a little extra time during launches, sales and holidays. Delivery estimates may vary with courier delays.
